Viking Ocean Cruises
Viking took delivery of Viking Vesta in Ancona on June 26, 2025. Three days later she was named in Split, Croatia. Her godmother is Lene Tangevald-Jensen, a Norwegian journalist and philanthropist known for supporting education programs in Kenya, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Vesta is the second ship of the 998-guest design that began with Viking Vela, and Viking says she can be retrofitted with new propulsion technology as it develops.
