Viking Ocean Cruises
Viking Mars was named in Valletta's Grand Harbour, Malta, on May 17, 2022, which is Norwegian Constitution Day. Her godmother, the Countess of Carnarvon of Highclere Castle, gave her blessing by video, and singer Sissel Kyrkjebø performed. The ceremony also marked Viking's 25th anniversary with donations to 25 charities. Mars is a 930-guest sister in Viking's original ocean class, delivered by Fincantieri in Ancona in 2022.
