Expedition
Viking Octantis was Viking's first expedition ship. After delivery in December 2021, she made her maiden voyage in Antarctica in January 2022. Her Polar Class 6 hull carries 378 guests. In the Hangar, an enclosed marina at the stern, guests board Zodiacs, kayaks, special operations boats and two submarines named John and George. Her godmother is polar explorer Liv Arnesen. She has also pioneered Viking's Great Lakes voyages.
