Viking Ocean Cruises
Viking Orion was named in Livorno, Italy, in June 2018. Her godmother is retired NASA astronaut Anna Fisher, and the ship takes its name from both the constellation and NASA's Orion spacecraft. She debuted the Explorers' Dome, a Digistar 6 planetarium on the upper level of the Explorers' Lounge. At launch she was the second cruise ship to carry a planetarium, after Queen Mary 2. She is the fifth ship of Viking's 930-guest ocean class.
