Who Qualifies

Special rates are offered by the cruise line on selected sailings. Rules differ by line, ship and date.

55 and Over
Many cruise lines offer lower fares on selected sailings when at least one guest in the cabin is 55 or older.
Proof of age may be requested at booking or check-in.
Military
Several cruise lines offer special fares for active-duty service members, veterans and retirees, and on some lines their spouses.
Eligibility and proof of service vary by cruise line.
State & Province Residents
Cruise lines often release resident fares for people who live in certain states or Canadian provinces, usually near popular departure ports.
Proof of residency may be requested at booking or check-in.
Past Passengers
If you have sailed with a cruise line before, you may qualify for past guest fares or perks through its loyalty program.
Have your loyalty number ready.
Airline Employees
Airline employees and retirees can often book interline fares, which are some of the best rates available.

Every sailing in our booking engine can be priced with special rates.

Find a cruise with the search on our homepage, or pick one from our deals.
Open the sailing. In the box titled Let us find the best rate for you, tick 55 yrs+, Military or Past Passenger, and choose your state or province if it is offered.
Click Update Rates to see the fares you qualify for.

Good to Know

What our advisors tell clients.

A special rate is not always the lowest fare. Sometimes a cruise line promotion is better, so we compare both.
Usually only one special rate can be applied to a booking. We pick the one that saves you the most.
Some special fares have different deposit or cancellation rules. We will explain them before you book.
If a guest cannot show proof of eligibility, the cruise line may change the fare. Bring your documents.
