Viking Ocean Cruises
Expedition
Viking Polaris is the identical twin of Viking Octantis and joined the fleet in 2022. The two ships were christened together in Amsterdam during Viking's 25th-anniversary celebrations, with explorer and educator Ann Bancroft as Polaris's godmother. She carries 378 guests on a Polar Class 6 hull. Her equipment includes the Hangar's stern slipway for Zodiacs and kayaks, two submarines, and the Viking Laboratory for onboard science.
