MSC Preziosa began sailing in March 2013 as the second modified Fantasia-class ship, a twin to MSC Divina. It was first ordered for a Libyan company under the name Phoenicia, and MSC bought it after that contract was cancelled. The ship is known for the Vertigo waterslide and the Doremi Castle kids' aqua park. Inside, it has a real stone piazza and Swarovski crystal staircases.
