MSC Fantasia launched its class in December 2008 and was followed by MSC Splendida and the enlarged MSC Divina and MSC Preziosa. She was the first MSC ship with the MSC Yacht Club, a ship-within-a-ship complex with butler service and the L'Étoile restaurant. The central stone piazza holds an espresso bar and shops. Other features include the Liquid Disco, the MSC Formula Racer simulator and a 4D cinema.
