Carnival Cruise Lines
Carnival Encounter started life in 2002 as Star Princess, a Grand-class ship. She later sailed as P&O Australia's Pacific Encounter. She joined Carnival in 2025 when P&O Australia was folded into the brand. She kept popular venues such as the Edge Adventure Park, Byron Beach Club and Luke's Bar & Grill. Carnival added Fun Squad activities, the Turtles kids club and Build-A-Bear workshops. Her sister is Carnival Adventure.
