Holland America Line
Volendam entered service in 1999 as one of Holland America Line's R-class ships, alongside sister Zaandam. Its interiors follow a floral theme, and a sculpture by Luciano Vistosi rises through three decks of the atrium. A 2024 refit updated many staterooms and added an art studio and a combined library, café and game room. In 2022 the ship housed Ukrainian refugees in Rotterdam.
