Princess Cruises
Sapphire Princess was built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan and entered service in 2004. She is a Gem-class sister to Diamond Princess. The two ships swapped names during construction after a fire delayed the hull first meant to be Diamond Princess. Her dining options include the Churrascaria Brazilian Grill and Makoto Ocean, and The Conservatory provides an enclosed, climate-controlled pool area on the top deck.
