Royal Caribbean
Independence of the Seas, the third Freedom-class ship, entered service in 2008 after sisters Freedom and Liberty of the Seas. Her 2018 Royal Amplified refit added more than 100 new cabins and fresh attractions, including Battle for Planet Z glow-in-the-dark laser tag, The Perfect Storm waterslides and an escape room. She also keeps the class's FlowRider surf simulator, an ice-skating rink and a two-level theater.
