Princess Cruises announced on October 22, 2026 that its Sanctuary Collection, a resort-style package of private spaces and added service that started on Sun Princess and Star Princess, is coming to five of its Royal Class ships. The line calls this the first phase of a multi-year update to its fleet. Each ship opens the collection for sale on its own date.
When each ship gets it
- Royal Princess: on sale October 22, 2026; first sailing is a 12-day South Pacific voyage on January 4, 2027.
- Regal Princess: on sale November 5, 2026; first sailing is a transatlantic from Fort Lauderdale on April 17, 2027.
- Discovery Princess: on sale December 4, 2026; first sailing is a 7-day Mexico round trip from Los Angeles on April 24, 2027.
- Sky Princess: on sale December 10, 2026; first sailing is a 14-day Baltic cruise from Southampton on May 29, 2027.
- Enchanted Princess: on sale December 17, 2026; first sailing is a 7-day Mediterranean cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome) on June 12, 2027.
What the collection includes
- A private Sanctuary Club lounge and a dedicated pool area with poolside food and drink service (shaded cabanas cost extra).
- Access to the Sanctuary Restaurant, with menus inspired by Princess destinations.
- Select suites and staterooms, including newly added oceanview rooms, plus a suite concierge and Suite Lounge.
- The Princess Premier package for guests who book once the collection opens on their ship.
Royal Princess guests who booked a Reserve Collection stateroom before October 22 will receive the Sanctuary experience, though Princess Premier is not part of that.
