Disney Magic started the Disney Cruise Line fleet in July 1998 and is the lead ship of the Magic class, with Disney Wonder as its sister. Goofy hangs from the stern. In 2013 the ship was reimagined in Cádiz, Spain, which added the AquaDunk drop slide and Marvel's Avengers Academy. A 2023 refit added the Soul Cat Lounge, an adults-only jazz club inspired by Pixar's Soul.
