Alaska
August is still peak season, with salmon runs in full swing and lush scenery. Rain becomes more frequent toward the end of summer in Southeast Alaska. Alaska’s cruise season runs from about May to September. Most sailings explore the Inside Passage from Seattle or Vancouver, or sail one way across the Gulf of Alaska, often paired with a land tour to Denali.
