Celebrity Equinox entered service in 2009 as the second Solstice-class ship, following Celebrity Solstice. It keeps the class's half-acre Lawn Club of real grass on the top deck. In 2019 Equinox became the first Solstice-class ship refurbished under the Celebrity Revolution program. That work created the Retreat Lounge for suite guests and gave the ship its dark-blue hull livery.
